A visit to Fez is also a cultural encounter.

Fez is the Sufi capital of western Mediterranean. Sufism, a philosophy, based on love and tolerance, inherited from Islam and representing the main bulwark against obscurantism, has been blooming in Fez for centuries.

Today, two major events celebrate this bold approach to human relations: the Festival of Sacred Music which takes place, every year at the beginning of June and the Festival of Sufi Musics, in March.
But spirituality, is also celebrated in many other ways in this city open to culture, with the Andalusian Music Festival or even… the jazz festival in Autumn.
