Afternoon tea at Mayfez puts a Moroccan twist on this time-honoured British tradition.
A fusion of flavours
The adventure begins with a selection of Teas from Tchaba, luxurious Moroccan tea brand, or traditional Moroccan mint tea, or, a glass of champagne, for those, who want to add some sparkle to the afternoon.
Then it’s on to the finger sandwiches, where classic British combinations meet the Moroccan traditional harira soup. Cucumber with a hint of lime and mint, smoked trout from the Atlas Mountains in fresh sourdough made by our baker, fresh fruit salad from the daily market, selection of pastries according to the chef’s inspiration.
But the traditional homemade English scones keep up with tradition. These are served warm from the oven, ready for spreading with Mayfez-made clotted cream and a selection of homemade jams. The strawberry and Madagascar vanilla jam is an absolute must try.
