INFORMATIONS

Check in – Check out
Check in is between 3 and 11:30 pm (please advise for early and late check ins)
Check out : 12pm.

Should you arrive early or check out late, guests are welcome to use the premises.

We would appreciate to be informed of the approximate time of arrival of our guests.

Children, additional person and sofa beds
All children and babies under 7 years of age stay at the hotel for free for the use of sofa beds and baby cots (according to availability)
From 7 years, each additional person will be charged 380 MAD (approx. 35€). One room can host 2 children up to 12 years, or one adult.
Sofa beds are available on request and need to be confirmed by the hotel.
These extra costs are not automatically calculated in the total amount of the booking and must be paid, separately, directly to the property at check out.

Breakfast
Continental breakfast is included in the price of the room. They are served at table or in the room between 8 and 10 am. On request breakfast can be served at the restaurant at 7:30 and for early check outs breakfast will be provided in take away bags.

Smoking
For security reasons, the rooms at the Riad are completely non-smoking, except for their private terraces.
Any offender will have to pay a 500 MAD penalty for smoking inside the room.
The rest of the hotel remains smokers friendly.

Pets
Pets are not allowed in the property.

Arrival and Transfer
Located inside the Old Medina, Riad Mayfez Suites & Spa is not directly accessible by car. A little 10 minutes’ walk is necessary to get to the property.

Parking
The location of the nearest garage: https://goo.gl/maps/HhbCfEfHQ1H2. It is dusty, but it is underground and secure.

Our Porter service
We invite you to contact us by Phone, WhatsApp or FaceTime 15 minutes before your arrival in Fez, so that we can send our porter to our meeting point: +212 (0)6 66 88 20 24.

Warnings
We recommend our guest to beware of false guides who proliferate in the medina and especially at taxi drop-offs and even at the airport. They carry false official cards and offer cheaper rates than the official one, which is 400 MAD for a day visit.
They are not dangerous but they only tour the bazaars, shops, and expensive bad restaurants, living on kickbacks from shops and restaurants.
Beware also the false drivers, especially when travelling to Chefchaouen.
The hotel can recommend guides, drivers and guided tours with trustful and competent partners that have been selected within the best in town.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Our cancellation policy only applies to our private clients and not to travel agencies. The latter are invited to contact the Riad directly to make their reservation and to get informed about the cancellation conditions, that apply to them.

Mayfez Best Flexible Rate

GUARANTEE POLICY

Pay at the property – No prepayment required – Credit card number with valid expiry date and security code is required to guarantee your reservation.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Free cancellation/modification until noon, 3 days prior arrival.
Later cancellation implies the payment of a penalty equal to 100% of the price of the first night. Modification will imply the payment of 100% of the first night that will be considered as a prepayment for the next scheduled stay.
In case of no-show and early departure: 100% of the amount of the stay will be due.

Mayfez Non Refundable

GUARANTEE POLICY

Full prepayment including tax is required at time of booking.

CANCELLATION POLICY

This reservation is non-refundable. Cancellations or changes made at any time are subject to a 100% charge.

Private parties or events are strictly prohibited in the Riad unless agreed before with the management.
